Hey All!

The storms are finally over - so the weather folks say - for a few days at least. Will be nice to have the humidity gone and that insane heat. Ick I hate this crap. I do like the sunshine and the beautiful green, just hate the heat and humidity.

This has been a real suckass weekend. My beautiful Kitty Socksie has been sickly since early February. It all ended Saturday. I had to make the heart breaking decision to put her to sleep. Took her to the vet and they determined she had bladder cancer, there is no treatment, no surgery and no medications that would allow her to be comfortable. Her last 5 days were really hard. She could not pee due to the tumor growning and blocking her up. She was in pain - so I had to put her to sleep.

I had 16 great years with her - she was such a baby. She was a very lovey dovey kitty and she had a real sense of humor. I'm gonna miss her so much! Her sister Bootsie is missing her too. She's not left my side since I got home alone Saturday. Even Bagley the Beagle was looking for her - she was the only one of the two cats that was nice to her.

Rest in Peace Socksie Baby! I miss you!

Oh Julie you know my heart breaks for you, she in peace and I am so sorry for you, now just try to let yourself be in peace too...{{BIG HUGS}}

****, it's Monday. Maybe I can get out a nurf gun and wake the kids the old fashioned fun way, with nurf bullets to the forehead, lol.

I hope everyone has survived the nasty weather we have had in the past few weeks. wow, one tornato after another. it's really starting to annoy me. my skirt keeps getting pushed up, but the manz love it, haha.

have a great week everyone, and remember, what doesn't kill you, makes you do bad things to the coworkers coffee.

Hey Ron - the Nerf Gun Alarm is GREAT! I did that to Dylan one morning... unloaded his Raider CS-35 on him. 35 rounds of Nerf Darts - was hysterical!

Monday's suckass big time. Only good thing about it is that it's not raining... finally.

Ron - Yeah... keep the skirt down... :eek:

I'm on my way to my coworkers coffee cup... ;)

Temps down, humidity gone...3 nice days lined up before the humidty builds again. It would be perfect if this was Saturday already.

Dave: I hear ya, I wish it was Saturday the 3rd today with this weather. We have the big parade in Forest Lake this Saturday so I hope it's not raining.

Wow, yesterday was the perfect weather for summer.

Juls: Here is a pic of Kira wearing my firefighter helmet, she turned four on June 6th.

Nate - she is 4 already!? WOW she was so tiny at the FIRST BBQ at my house! That was already 4 years ago! She is adorable.

We have got to get together... would love to see you guys again!

Today - I drive home with my sunglasses on AND THE TOP DOWN!

Its Monday and I'm not at work, this is kinda cool, and whats even better is I have tomorrow off too, I did have work Sat. and Sun. though. Hope everyone had a good 4th, we watched fireworks from the boat last nite, is was still 84 degrees at 11pm.

Happy belated Birthday Mike hope it was a good one

Hope everybody survived the Holiday weekend. I'm enjoying the 2nd peaceful week with my office partner on vacation and the office all to myself. I'd rather be home though.
