ali, I hope all turns out for the best. sorry to read of such a bad time. your in my thoughts.

well, today is going to be a great day!!! I called my Dr. and told him no more waiting on Friday. so, my fat *** is going in today so we can deside what we are doing, and what the issues might be. then, wednesday I go to my other Dr. and we set up for one more surgery to get past that. hopefully the news is not so bad, and in a few months, I can start to rebuild my wore out body :)

so, today I am serving them up. line up for some virgin drinks. why virgin? because I miss my drinks, and if I smell them, we will all be slurring together, haha.

My wife and daughter (first airplane ride) are boarding a plane right now to head to Chicago to visit some friends for the week..so I am baching it this week.

This is the first day of my third week at the office and it is shaping up to be a busy busy week - I like it. Except all this yawning. No clue why I am so tired!

I got ALL my laundry done this weekend! Up and down the stairs with my bootfoot! Had the kids carrying everything. I still smell diesel in my washer... the kids think I'm crazy. BUT I still smell it! So far, I don't smell it on my clothes - Jim is so lucky... if my clothes had diesel smell on them he'd be buying me ANOTHER new wardrobe (last time he dried my clothes and shrunk them all).

Today is the 7th week anniversary of my broken foot. The broken foot part is doing fine... the ankle not so much. It's stills swollen and hurts. I can move and feel my toes like normal, but can't move my ankle and it still feels numb. So lots of questions for the doc.

Alright, better get back to WORK!!! YEEHAW!!

I hope your ankle starts to feel better. you know what they say. at our age, stuff just stay broke, lol. the smell can still be used for a new wardrobe. its the little white lies that get us stuff, haha.

Nate, so what your saying is I can ship my clan to your house for the week?

Well, the Dr. pissed me off. the up side is he does not think it leukemia, so thats good. leaned real hard on itp though. he says a bone marrow would be a strong conclusion. I told him no for now, because of how and where. so, I get to check myself for bruising, or bleeding daily. my platlets are not below 50 thousand yet, so no treatments as of now. monthly checks, while living in my man made little bubble. I guess it is time to try a lawyer for disability. its a hard thing to accept not doing what I have done my hole life for fear of cutting, hurting, or breaking something. at the same time, I would bet diability is a long shot at best. at least no more steroids for now. god do steroids suck. so, one down, two more to go. monthly checks until my blood goes boom.

screw it, who wants a double. i'm buying!!!

Suppose to be Sunny, Warm, and Muggy here today.
At 1pm, it is still gray, misty, and 70.
at least in the winter if this precipitation level was the same,...
We'd have LOTS of White Gold! :)

Congratulations Juls! Hope you're loving it!

Ron - stay strong and positive - thoughts and prayers are with you!

Had my 40th Birthday and my wife had a surprise party with friends and folks I work with. It was great. Also just celebrated our 12th anniversary. Had my parents stay at my house to watch the kids and I planned a night away in Lake Geneva. It was nice and relaxing.

I know I've missed a lot but hope you're all doing great!

Randy - how's the new job?

Been crazy busy here - I took a certification test for my job - I passed - but it had been so long - I forgot how to study (ok - not really - I'm just a procrastinator!) but yea - that was a lot of studying! Now I only have 2 more to tests to go to get my certificaiton. And the BIG one will be a total of another 7 tests! Guess I'm on the long term plan! LOL

We had no storms last night - they all went around us - but prayers out to those that all around MN that were affected by the 'nado's and storms!

hope to get to Back to the Fifties this weekend - love checking out the cars - only wish "my car" was running to drive it over there.......someday soon I hope!

Prayers to all those who have suffered damage and loss during the storms last night. Very large tornados hit Wadena AND Albert Lea.

Our John Dee Family Man Jim Formanek is in Wadena and from his facebook postings he seems to be okay - Wadena however is not.

MY JIMMY is okay - he's working down in the Albert Lea area. He said it was "ugly" down there but he's all good.

Melanie and Corey in Owatanna are doing okay as well. Corey might have some work now what we've had all the hail storms!! GO COREY!

Happy Friday! Third week at work and I feel like I never left!! I have huge potential in this department - the work load these folks are carrying is unreal. I just got to get the right training in then they can turn me loose on it! MUST LEARN FASTER!

SOOOOOOOOOOO happy to be back to work!!! Prayers for the rest of us looking for work - KEEP ON KEEPIN' ON - don't give up!!! NETWORK your azz off! It works.

Ron - Good to hear that it's not leukemia and hopefully whatever it is will improve. Good luck with everything.

Julie - I'm glad the job is going well. It sounds like they need you big time!

Life has been crazy busy. I sure wish it would rain less. I'm tired of cutting grass in a swamp. My grass never seems to dry out and everytime I get a chance to cut it, it's wet. I'm also tired of playing softball and golf in the rain. Guess what? There are more storms on the way here. We just had a few go through earlier this morning. Arggghhhh!

I swear - I'm losing it - life is really starting to pick up the pace and I wasn't ready for it! I was still in the lazy mode - so I'm losing track of everything and I apologize!

OK - I know - I know - it's summer - but can we please cut the humidity? Not only do I hate it from a temp/comfy point? But I'm not sure how long I can handle this!!! I will be out East (in the heart of humidity) enough this summer - can I please have a small respite here in MN from the super frizzy hair?

OK - back to trying to figure out the new helmet camera we bought. I just got the blue screen of death on PC's last try to connect up........... wish me luck!
