Happy Birthday Larry! (I know I'm late - but I was on time on Facebook :)!)

Hey guys - just wantd to give you all a heads up - Junior - aka Brad Roy (Woody's cousin) has been deployed to the Mid East. He flew out 1.5 weeks ago (while I was in Boston - hoping to catch up with him!) to Qatar. I believe it's a 6 month deployment - so he should be back stateside in January or February.
Say a little prayer for him and his fellow soldiers....... I asked for an address to send him a little care box - but I haven't heard back from him.......
If I hear anymore - I'll keep you guys updated........

Back to work and watching a storm roll in........ Fun to watch storms blow in from the 9th floor - just as long as they stay relatively tame!!!!

Andie, I heard Mini Me was getting deployed from Woody awhile back, he didn't know when, hopefully he will be back in time for a ride this season, as last year was not a very good year for most of us. Keep your head down Junior

What a GLORIOUS WEEKEND!!! The heat and humidity GONE!! Amazing! It felt like the first day of fall - it was perfect - except for the smell of fall was missing - I love that smell!

Work is SUPER DOOPER busy - which is WONDERFUL! Very challenging, add that to school and I'm keeping myself out of trouble!

School starts in about three weeks. We have to get school supplies... ick. Gotta get the clothes shopping done too - Ick Ick. BUT - YEAH the kids will be back in school soon! Whew!

Have a GREAT week!

I got an A!!!!!!!

GUESS WHAT!!!

I just got the final grade for my current class - ENGLISH 112 Composition - we had to write papers. The last paper was kicking my butt all over the place. After submitting my draft and tanking it big time - I asked the Professor if I could go with a different topic, he approved. So I did... I had to start from scratch, do all the research and everything all over again.

It paid off!!! I GOT 100% on my final paper!!! It was a persuasive essay on the Dangers of Ritalin. I was able to use our personal experience with Dylan's heart attack back in April of 2008.

I am still pulling a 4.0 - I've not scored less than a 97% in any of the classes. I am officially in my 2nd year. This was the first class with a job, it was hard, but I got it handled. Next class is Statistics... more math!! But it's with the great math professor - so I should do just fine.

I am SO EXCITED!!! Had to share with EVERYONE! :) :)
