WTG - I sooooooo totally know what you are sayin'! When the monster-in-law is in town, I am REQUIRED to drink so I don't cause her physical damage. :) :)

Now, when the sister-in-laws are here, holy crap we laugh so damn much everything hurts! My Sister-in-law was here for the 2008 SLEDCHICK Summer Bash - she fit right in with these sled heads!! She let out far too many family secrets though!

Like Squatty said - EVERYONE is part of the family!!!

mrsjac - Oh yea! MIL is a lovely lady - she makes me twitchy tho...Thanksgiving starts with memosas and we just move on from there. When she just shows up - which ya'd think would be hard considering she doesn't live anywhere NEAR here but she manages it - I start thinking about what I've got in stock?! :p

Sledchick summer bash?? Good golly...who knew there were enough chicks who sleded to have a bash!? :O Back in the day I was one of the few on my own sled...now it seems we're everywhere!! :)

And thanks for "Like Squatty said - EVERYONE is part of the family!!!" There's always those lurkers out there that read the family thread - me being one of 'em - but since I came out of the lurker closet, I'm feeling pretty giddy about belonging!? :)

Bradzoo that is too funny, we have to get over that way for a family trip sometime for sure! And you'll have to get over this way for one at the Running Bear I think the whole resort spins sometimes :p

and Julies you were not yelling out the window I think you were squating next to the truck :eek:

I think we are planning a summer trip at least a few day's up in your area, nothing set in stone but we are talking about it, now that Kelly is working (part time) it may throw a wrench in the plans but we can hope anyway

My sled has never seen grass - well, on purpose...

Now that I know I really, truly...no REALLY and TRULY can't go sledding any more this season I'm looking forward to summer. Gotta get thru spring baseball season with the 3 boys first! Good news is that my middle kid is on a team with an adult beverage schedule! I've always wanted to be on one of those!!! WOO HOO!

It will be fun to see this again in 2 mos!

windingtrailgal, Grass drags are around the end of October at my house. My back yard is the run (roughly 300 ft) and the neighbor let's us use his yard for the turn around. Ton's of fun and a great way to get back on your sled a little early!!!
Oh and everyone is part of the family, we met a guy this winter from Iowa that knew all about the family but had never posted!!!
Where are you Sparkplug!!!????

Sparkplug -that's COOL you met the JD Family! I have a feeling I'll get around to it eventually if I promise to bring the beer!? :cool: And nothing like making your first post quick and to the point!! You been watching the Decorah Eagles?

And Julie - the grass drags sound like fun! My yard is all concrete and my neighbors would crap KITTENS even if I DID have the grass to do it?! grrrrr

CRAP KITTENS! That's too funny!

I've been watching those eagles! Amazing! I also am keeping my eye on Lily the Black Bear and her cubs Hope, Faith and Jason. A mixed litter... Hope is a yearling and Faith and Jason are a couple months old. SO MUCH FUN to watch them!
