Jeff sorry you didn't make it, it was a good time, main trails were beat, and side trails iffy, off trail wet and heavy on top. Sorry we didn't call when we came through, I was running about 2 hours late thanks to a nice Michigan State Police officer that was kind enough to inform me in Gaylord that my trailer plate was missing and I couldn't go any further until I got new one, then he proceeded to check the registrations on the truck, the sleds and everything else,(glad we didn't have the dog with us or he would have had to check her dog license), so after locating the secratary of state and getting escorted there just to make sure I got a new one, we were off and running kinda fast to make up for lost time.

I was in town, we pulled off the free-way at the south end of town and decided to run into town and get gas and a bite to eat on main st. then get back on the free-way at the north side of town. He informed us he was new to the post when I ask where the Sec. of State was and he didn't know, so my wife had the ask the people at the gas station, maybe he followed us to Sec. of State to find out how to get there instead of escorting us.HAHAHAHA He also said he wanted the plate mounted where he could see it and not under the trailer where it was mounted before (the license plate bracket rusted and it broke off) so I mounted it to the back of the cap on the trailer, of course my license plate light is still under the trailer so now I have to rewire that or the next itme through town he'll prolly give me a ticket for no license plate light, knowing my luck!!!!
