I want access to the gps location of the guy that is a 1/8 mile out and comin in hot on my side of a blind corner....otherwise.... keep your gadgets.

Don't get me wrong, I love the fun factor of the AXYS but if Poo engineering would have spent less time on the GBS bull chit and 10 minutesmore on making sure the
gas gage works, it would have been way more impressive to this numbnut.

Run out of gas in a bad place? Did we? AND if they could make a blind corner warning of fast approaching sled, I'd be in at almost any cost

Nope. Once I figured out the gage read empty at 1/2 to 1/3 full I figured out my range and was good to go....but it still is annoying to see a flashing digital gage for 50 miles....I see this blunder by Poo on an even par with Yamahas cra.p grip warmers on the 4 strokes.
On a positive note....the poo owners with the gps gage WILL know how far a walk they got ahead of them if they run out.

u are not alone on that my M is flashing oil and gas with a sold 2 hrs left heck oil u still have 3/4 of a day or more.
cant say I have ever needed a gps on a trail sled. heck pretty rare I look at a map on a trail sled .guys for the most part do a good job marking trail in the mid west as long as u slow down in the intersections to catch a glimpse of the arrow and town name u are good to go.
now back in the day when It was the norm to close the bar then hit the lake or flowage and attempt to find the rented cabin for a few hrs could have been real useful if I could have read it

Agree GPS limited use for trails but if you burn down an engine & need to know exactly where you are on trail to be towed out in best direction gps would be wonderful in that event. For trail riding agree follow trail markings and enjoy the ride not time for screen glances that plain sight real time defines.

I got a call from a local Polaris dealer the other day too... wondering if I'm ready for an upgrade (currently on a Pro-R 2012). Told him heck.. Might as well run the #'s. I've got the winter itch going on, and he might have caught me at just the right time ;) This thread may have increased his chance of a sale too!
