Opinions on new sled?

Hey guys, I'm about to pull the trigger on a new sled and wanted to get some opinions. My 2006 F7 snopro has treated me well for the last several years but its time to move on. I've had my eye on the 2009-2011 crossfire 800s ever since my buddy bought one in 2010. I've looked into several this spring but never seemed to find the right sled at the right price. I originally had a self imposed budget of 5k and have come across several at that price but higher mileage, etc. I recently stumbled across a 2011 crossfire LTD 800. The sublime green addition that you either love or hate. I, myself love it. Anyway, shes a one owner with extras, stock motor. Appears to be really nice from pics. 700 miles. Its well over my originally intended budget but is also low miles, one owner, and exactly what I'm after. What kind of value would you place on this machine in mid summer? Anything specific to this sled to look out. Thanks for your thoughts,
Tomcat

Also would take thoughts on what I should expect out of my F7 if listed this fall. 2006 F7 EFI sno pro. 8K miles. runs strong, mostly stock, never been apart. 130 psi per side. newer primary and secondary, always mechanically maintained. physically shows its age and miles. small crack in hood, small tears in seat, scratches, etc, couple missing track lugs. Shes an old high mileage sled that has never left me stranded. I was thinking probably $2500 at optimum time of year.

I got 6k in late march for my 11 limited m8 with B&M fab boards/ bdx A arms/bearing up dated with driver machined to prevent binding /1600mi or so. was happy to get it.
the 11 800 rips very strong motor best yr of shock set up .
primary clutch is the only real week spot on that sled.
the x fires are deff higher demand than the M sleds so I would say U are prob looking at 6500 for it.
truth be told I miss my 11 only got to ride my 14 for 3 days but I was missing my 14 at every hill we came to. in time I will get the feel for the new sled but was deff missing my 11.

6k sounds like a good price.
bring a flash light look down on top of cooler under steering post for cracks. I would pull 2ndary and look for cracks around bulkhead around diamond drive.
do the finger test behind shock to check for equal distance to upper a arm .the M ones any way were real light but could not take a mid grade hit .
the clutch is a weeks spot on that thing but usually bushing will last to 1600 to 2000 mi so should be good lots of guys got new ones under warranty . if this one has extended and u have a dealer who likes u he will prob just give u a clutch in a box for when u need it.
otherwise racing station rebuilds bushing u can find then on snowest.
best option u can buy for the old M chasi IMHO is the 35 buck goggle warmer

Thanks for the tips. Are the secondaries hard to pull on these? What's the best way to remove the belt? The owner had a family emergency come up and I'm out of town for a while come Sunday so everything's pushed back. Why am I even thinking about a sled in July? I need counseling.

no just un bolt keep belt on and give it a good yank she will come off .
July is the best time if it was January he would be asking 7 and prob getting it if it was a good winter
