Yup. Would be pretty silly not to jump on that one!!
Just ordered mine up. Thanks, Snoluver for the tip! First $100 purchase I "should" be able to justify w/ the Wife. As she reminds me on a regular basis "Your life insurance is up-to-date, so I'm good." Come to think of it, maybe she won't approve?!?!

Just so you guys know, these vests have a ton of adjustment in them. If your teetering on the edge of needing a large or extra large, I am betting you could get away with the M/L if they have any left.

Just checked, it is still on the site. I would call the 800 number and expect them to hook you up. It is in the clearance section so I suspect your sol. You never know.

I feel like I should but I dont wanna be a d1ck and waste my time. Life goes on. Havent ever ordered anything from first place parts before and on my first try I get screwed. Won't be seeing any orders from me then.

Honest mistake on their part. I have found they are great to work with and good for returns, if you need to make one.

I had already placed my order and they gave me the same story when I called. I raised a bit of a stink and they filled my order with the same vest without the Motorfist logo. Item #27010587 is exactly the same w/o the logo. Guess since it's under my other layers, it shouldn't matter. Give 1st place parts a call if you already ordered and they told you they were out of stock, they should be able to do the same for you. Their customer service is pretty good in my experience.

I may try this.

By the way, is this a good vest? Hate to buy one if it's not. Also, how bulky are these things...can you still wear the same size jacket ok, perhaps with a little thinner midlayer?

Guys, its a clearance sale. That means "while supplies last". I don't think they should be obligated to fill orders if they are out of stock. That is the whole point of the sale, to get rid of overstock. I don't think anyone got "screwed". Yeah, maybe they should have updated the web site, but you can't expect them to do that instantaneously. You snooze you lose.
If they are filling orders anyway, they are going far above the call of duty!! IMHO.

I was thinking the same thing Snoluver1.On top of it ,I payed $100 for an adult lrg Fox vest back in Dec,for my son. This was at a Yami dealer in the burbs of Chicago? This wasn't a clearance sale. I thought 100$ was an avg price?

That's not the point. Their business pretty well solely relies on online shopping. They have an item for sale for a certain price, multiple people have gone through the 5-10 minute process to buy it to receive an email saying they are out. Someone is getting paid to remove items like this, and its not getting done.

Don't get too concerned about them...I probably won't get around to it anyway. I agree a price on a website doesn't guarantee you anything. You have to cut people some slack once in a while for an honest mistake...

I picked up 2 vests today for my boys, for ATVing around the yard. Found on Craigslist. Bought both for $20. I think that was a pretty good deal. Now need to find one for the old man.
