So sad to see young punks with money (most Packer players) and the NFL (with lots of our money) being allowed to abuse the people who pay to be entertained but instead are subjected to unwanted politics.
I have been taking my 84 year old retired Marine Captain of 22 years service father to his two annual games each year in Green Bay where we love the flag roll out on the field, singing the National Anthem and watching the Military flyover. As a man who signed up to get season Packer tickets in 1977 when we moved to Wisconsin, who finally received the opportunity to purchase them in 2011 and finally passed them to me; I respect my Father, the Anthem, the Flag and our Country and WILL SING THAT ANTHEM LOUDER THAN EVER THURSDAY NIGHT.

So we have for decades stood with hand on heart for national anthem....... now the "snowflakes" want us all to hold hands???? NO WAY......that's the stupidest thing I've heard in a long time.

Halas and Lombardi would say show respect for the flag and the NA and then go out there and hit somebody HARD make them see tweety birds!.. LOL... Win or lose play hard as you can let them know the Bears and Packers were here make them pay for every inch!

Bear, hats off to your Marine Corp Captain father, and my Marine Corp Sergeant father I lost in 2015. I know what he would have thought about this BS protest.
Sing loud - scream it if you have to.

the nfl has stooped to a new low by not honoring/respecting the FLAG and NA. to many thousands & thousands have given the ultimate sacrifice. I feel this is a slap in the face to anyone that has served.

I'm thinking Glennon is better than Cutler. He throws great to the DB's and even had a fumbleruskie! Fun watching the Bears Packers at Lambeau but I don't think the Packers can play anymore games. They don't have anyone starters left it seems and somebody used Tauschers number so they can't even drag him out of the booth and throw him on the field. We had fun sitting in the concourse with 60k of our closest friends too during the lightning storm. Great game and an expected outcome.

I agree 10 fold....for 26 million you better stand putz....how about we take away 25 million from each of them and give them to wounded warriors and police and teachers...I personally have started to boycott the teams that don't....I hope they buck them all down to our level....they high up on their horse now but I see a good bucking coming up

They may set records for ejections and arrests Thursday night!

For what it's worth the Green Bay PD reports of the 78,362 fans at the game, there were seven arrests and 22 ejections. Which is just about normal for a Bears game at Lambeau. Of the seven arrested, three were the result of running onto the field during the rain delay.

Was Danny Trevathan arrested???....YIKES what a nasty hit!!! Fine suspension or both? No need for that kind of stuff imo and I'm a Bears fan.

Sounds like Adams is going to be OK, he's got some time to work through the Protocol before Dallas. It was a wicked hit no doubt but as a Packer fan I'm also reminded of the late hits of Green Bay lore. Remember Ken Stills and Matt Suey? He nearly took his head off after the whistle. And of course, Charles Martin picks up Jim McMahon and body slams him headfirst. So, maybe a little bit of Karma happening there. Not saying it's right, just saying these things happen from time to time. Get well soon Davante!

Never seen the mouth piece come flying out on the hit and the player motionless on the ground very scary and pointless...Danny said he was reaching out to Adams and felt bad about the hit but too late already did it. Charles Martin hit on McMahon was the all time dirtest hit ever!... must have been 3 seconds after the whistle as Jim was trotting off the field....that had to be a bounty hit. The NFL has cleaned up hits on WRs and QBs big time but players are bigger and faster now and why injury rate is so high imo. Remember when The Fridge was the first quick footed 300 pounder in the NFL now 320 is common for Olinemen and the Fridge was DL.

NFL suspends Danny Trevathan two games
Posted by Michael David Smith on September 30, 2017, 4:32 PM EDT

AP
Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan has been suspended two games for his brutal hit that hospitalized Packers receiver Davante Adams on Thursday night.

The league announced Trevathan’s suspension today, two days after the hit on Thursday Night Football drew widespread condemnation and caused Adams to be carried off the field on a stretcher.

NFL V.P. of Football Operations Jon Runyan made the decision to suspend Trevathan based on the excessive nature of the hit, in which Trevathan lowered the crown of his helmet and appeared to directly target Adams’ head after Adams had already been wrapped up by other players.

Trevathan has the right to appeal. Either Derrick Brooks or James Thrash will hear Trevathan’s appeal.

If his appeal is not successful, Trevathan will miss next Monday night’s game against the Vikings and then the following Sunday’s game against the Ravens. He can return to the Bears’ roster on Monday, October 16 after their game against the Ravens on Sunday, October 15.

slap on the wrist. Did you see him after the hit. Looks like he got a taste of blood and was ready for war. Animal style. Sheesh. I wonder what that hit would have registered in G force? Nasty!

IDK they don't get paid when suspended and Trevathan makes big bucks....Danny is a hitter but you have to be a clean hitter no head stuff and in this case Adams was going no where but down so unnecessary imo. Bears already down on LBs so I'm sure Fox and Pace gave him an earful too. Words were exchanged on the field and Officals did a good job keeping the peace. I hope Adams gets back quickly.

So they reduced his suspension from 2 games to 1. Like I said slap on the wrist...

Must have reviewed simular punishments for simular hits and came up with 1 game. Doesn't make Adams feel any better but heard he would play Sunday.
