Derek brooks heard the appeal. He talked about it and he made the right call. there was no malicious intent. while it was kinda dirty, it was unintentionally dirty. the game is fast and he was trying to make a play. not hurt the guy.

I dunno about you guys but trevathan makes ALOT of money. They get paid per game. He will miss a whole game paycheck. Not exactly sure what it is but he signed a 28M dollar deal. so I would guess minimum of 250K. little more than slap on the wrist from my Point of view.

and yet Zeke Elliott wasn't charged by the DA in Ohio because of a lack of evidence, accusers sketchy story and back round but he still gets 6 game suspension. Traython almost killed Adams and gets one.
yep move along nothing to see here.
Goodell is an absolute clown.

You've pretty much become the 'board football clown' with comments like this, and others.

Im sorry if all the packers fans are offended(actually im not). the guy didn't get hurt, it wasn't intended to hurt him. he lost a huge sum of money. standard suspension for stuff like this, but all the cry baby packers fans cant handle it(not all are crybabys).

Mo, let's hope that Mitchy lights it up on Monday night or you will never hear the end of it after all the crowing and chirping we've heard over the last few months. Nevertheless, as a Packer fan we hope Trubisky does well and has a long career with Chicago. Most of us felt the same way about Cutler and that worked out pretty good!

Just having some fun with you Mo, the Bears have waited a long time for this kind of optimism.

We have been waiting forever!!! I agree!!!! im sure im more optimistic than most!

And yes I would expect to hear it if trubisky ends up being a dud like cutler.

Truthfully im not expecting him to light it up per say..... yet..... tuff defense, 1st game.... but I do expect him to play well with the occasional rookie mistake.

Nothing would be better than a 4th quarter GW touchdown!!!!

Problem with your rational mo is Adams wasn't wiggling. He was being held by 3 guys while Raytheon T'd him up. It had absolutely nothing to do with him being a Packer. I don't want to see another Daryl Stingley out there.
If your boy friend Mitch was done dirty like that I'm pretty positive you'd be singing a different tune.

I agree.

He clearly led with the crown of his helmet, which is an intentional violation. Max fine, max suspension. Fast or not, the intent is obvious. Knowing the pace is fast, and knowing what is a violation means you change the way you do things so you don't violate, and when you aim the crown of your helmet at him, you know you are doing it to intentionally cause max damage possible. He could just as easily have approached the tackle in multiple other ways, that is what training and practice is all about.

He was still moving. really is that simple. former players on espn radio talked about it and they said the same thing. they were taught to hit a player in that scenario. shouldn't have led with helmet. he did and paid the price.

Cant compare a hit on WR to a hit on a QB.

whats the difference between the QB getting a cheap shot or Adams?
If the QB don't slide he's as fair game for a cheap hit as Adams was.

the packers D won't forget this next time we play. your BF mitch better have his head on a swivel.

Officals protect QBs and WRs from savage hits more so QBs. I wouldn't promote a war on Bear & Packer QBs the Packers have whole lot more to lose if Rogers goes down than the Bears if Trubisky is injured. Bear / Packer game always gets chippie no need to promote head hunters on key skill players.
