So here we go...The Tundra's gonna be frosty and the colder the better when the Cowboys get off the bus. Probably a lot of references to Ice Bowl II but it's not going to be that cold.
-13 the last time the Cowboys played the Packers in Green Bay for the 1967 playoffs.

Green Bay is the early favorite and that probably won't change. Dallas' ground game is going to be hard to keep in check but the Packer offense should more than make up for it. Could be a lot of points in this game.

Green Bay is favored by 6 1/2 points.

Since the Packers do not practice outside, i think the cold will effect them as much as the cowgirls.

Everyone is talking about the flag that got picked up. How bout how many stupid mistakes the lions made on romos winning drive?? I think that should be mentioned more than that wussy pass interference call....

Yup and the 130 yards of total offense in second half. And after that penalty being picked up not having the guts to go for it on 4th and 1 on dallas 46 with 8 1/2 left. If you dont have a play you have confidence in getting 1 yard with reggie bush, calvin johnson, pettiigrew, you dont deserve to win. Deer in the headlights,. you think brady belechick punt that ball. no way.

Lots of bad calls in that game. Running into Detroit kicker and having him put on an Academy Award performance to draw a flag was crap. Many non-calls for holding on Detroit on pass plays. Just bad reffing. That said if Detroit would have gotten one more TD when they were up 20 to 7 the Cows probably wouldn't have been able to come back. They let them stay in the game. They never should have let it be close enough where a bad call could change the outcome. No sympathy for Lions. Biggest question for Pack is Rodgers. If he is sitting duck in the pocket with bad calve it could be bad.

Dallas hasnt lost on the road and i dont think GB had lost at home this year. Somethings got to give. Dallas has the formula to win, run run run the ball. I suspect a good game, but think the packers will pull it out if rodgers is above 80%.

Ahhh, yes they do, where necessary to acclimate, but certainly not all the time.
Check it out.

Any coach that wouldn't put a team through some amount of outdoors practice to prep for extreme cold would be quite the fool.

Cold shouldn't matter. Dallas played last reg season game in Washington and it wasn't very warm there. Should be good game. GB vs Detroit in last game of the reg season could have been a lot different without the punt return for a touch early on by GB. Dallas, Detroit and GB all very close. Difference is Rodgers who never throws interceptions. It will probably come down to turnovers. And refs.

Cold weather did not help the Packers any when they lost to the Giants in 2008.

HH

yup and it didn't help when they lost to Michael vick and Atlanta in the playoffs a few years ago.
the cold weather advantage is a thing of the past.
most these players in the NFL grew up on the west coast or the south and played in the south.
they all hate the cold.

they'll have a home field advantage no doubt but not because of the weather.
