Your wretched team wins a game against a mediocre team and your talking Glory Days....and playoff wins...please pass whatever it is kb's smoking!

The Packers lose to Tampa, then beat a mediocre, at best, Dallas team, and it's time to print playoff tickets? I am starting to think the water supply has been magically converted into moonshine.

I really wished Dallas would have creamed the Pack. I am a packer fan, but cant stand Mike McCarthy. Hope for 5-11 so Mike is gone.

The Vikes have a very talented team. If they get anywhere it will be because of BRETT and JARED. Brad Childress is even worse than McCarthy.

srt20,

I agree in general about Chilly but he is smart enough to know what his team needed and he went and got Brett and drove him INTO town instead of driving him OUT of town. Chillys play calling is BAD at times.

AP is without a doubt one of if not the best back in the NFL currently. But he isnt going carry the team. Favre has shown for many years in GB he can carry a team. Even throughout his throw the ball into triple coverage years. He is alot smarter QB now.

Childress is Favre's puppet. Favre went to MN cuz he wanted to, not because of anything Childress did. Im not baggin on the vikes, I dont like em, but I like Favre and hope he gets to the Stupid Bowl.

geez and you think farve is CARRYing the team?

Team....

A team comprises a group of people or animals linked in a common purpose. Teams are especially appropriate for conducting tasks that are high in complexity and have many interdependent subtasks.

A group in itself does not necessarily constitute a team. Teams normally have members with complementary skills and generate synergy through a coordinated effort which allows each member to maximize his or her strengths and minimize his or her weaknesses.

Thus teams of sports players can form (and re-form) to practice their craft. Transport logistics executives can select teams of horses, dogs or oxen for the purpose of conveying goods.

A Running Back that Can't hang on to the ball will really bite you in the butt come playoff time. AP is a freak of nature, but he Can't hang on to the ball!

Adrian Peterson has had 13 fumbles in 1.5 seasons, with 8 fumbles lost. He has already matched his "lost fumble total" of last season. This always has a way of catching up to a team...just wait.

well Brett has the NFL record for interceptions and we all act like he can walk on watter.alot of those interceptions were in play off games that lead to a bowl ring.

Let's start with the Seahawks...then the Bears. That's 10 wins, and enough to win this putrid division.

And Brett also has the records for touchdowns yards etc....
Oh those all came in all games whether in playoffs or regular season.

Im positive that the vikes would be the same old crappy team if they has T. Jackson or Sage R. at the helm. But hey, if and when Brett ever does actually stay retired, we will find out.

QB was the missing link with the Vikes

Enjoy this year Vikes fans cause next year (I'm thinking it's really a one year deal) when Brett retires we will be back to the same ol same ol

We got our preview of life after Brett last Sunday, When TJ tried to get Rice his record.
TJ threw him a marshmellow, Rice couldn't even feel it hit his hands. he is used to Brett's bullets now.

All roads to the NFC Championship will be going through New Orleans. Maybe the Bucs' can pull of another miracle and beat the Aint's in Tampa this weekend and help out the rest of the conference. Drew Brees and company are on a mission, and they're taking no prisoners on the way. Right now NO is the cream of the crop in the NFC--maybe even the entire league!!

I really like the Colts, Peyton Manning for MVP? I also agree the Saints are tough, and Drew Brees is playing Phenominal. The Saints running game with Bell, Pierce, and Reggie Bush is pretty stout as well.
Drew Brees is a great guy, I went to Purdue with him and saw him a lot around our dorms when I was a freshman. You will not meet a nicer guy, I saw him one day at lunch signing an item for one of the ladies that worked in the cafeteria, he was nothing but smiles and willing to take the time to talk during one of his very limited breaks in action. I hope they do well!
