Packers vs. Vikings why no chatter?

If the Vikes start Mcnabb they will lose by 4 touchdowns. If the Vikes start Ponder they will lose by 4 touchdowns. The only way the Pack can lose is if they stay home. The Vike's window was two years ago and they blew it. They should be traded to Guatamala for 14 cases of bananas and a herd of goats. Three legged goats. This would provide much more entertainment for the people of MN than the current squad. I sure hope North Dakota doesn't get a pro football team. If they did MN would think they would have to have one also.

It's a real Dome scratcher but I'm sure the Vikings will keep it close for a quarter or maybe two, in the end it might get ugly. CAN'T WAIT! till Thanksgiving Day.

The roof of the dome caving in last year wasn't the only problem in Viking land.
Packers should win unless they don't take their practice this week serious enough. I expect to see Matt Flynn play later in the game.
Vikings seem to be several years of rebuilding before they are a contender again.

This is what makes the NFL great. A couple of years ago the Vikings were one Brett Favre interception away from the Superbowl, Detroit was winless and the 49ers were at the bottom of the pile. In the NFL your team has a chance, every year.

Packer Fans know the futility of bad teams, circa 1969 to 1991. Ironically, the guy that threw that pick for the Vikings helped turn around the Packers many years ago. Something to Ponder....

Think Snow & Go Packers!!

How is the view of the Fly Over from the big bag of hot air up there?
It's pretty cool in Lambeau.

Maybe the boys could make another trip to Miss. and talk Ole What's His Face
into riding in and saving the day.

"GO PACK GO"

You'll all probably be cheering for the LA Vikings this time next year. Fly Over.jpg

I suspect this game, being against a division rival, in the Metrodome, will be closer than people expect.
Hopefully the Packer players aren't coming down with some superiority complex, because that could be deadly.
I don't know if anyone has noticed, but GB's defense hasn't exactly been top tier this year.
AP has a "punchers" chance of knocking us back on our heels.

AP has his moments, but IMO mostly likes to run his head into a pile of players and get nowhere.
Most times I don't even think he looks up to see where he is going.

Pack D will put 8 in the box same as the Bears & stuff AP. Ponder will be running for his life from blitz. Pack D faster than Bears D so not a pretty picture for the Vikes. Is Rogers better than Cultler & does Pack have better Receivers? All Yep so unless Pack quits after 1st 10 minutes we have a route mismatch about to happen. Not sure I would start Ponder in this 1 too risky for his health or for any Rookie QB. Vikes willingness to throw him to the wolves seems dumb to me. Ponder no good to Vikes at all busted up.

Well, it should be a bit of a route by the Packers, clearly the better team heading in a better direction right now.

HOWEVER, McNabb has been nothing short of horrible this year. The Vikings have to put Ponder in sooner or later to see just what this kid can do. They aren't going anywhere with McNabb, and they have to see what they got in the draft last spring.

At home, and with a crowd that has been pleading for Ponder to start for weeks is about as good of a situation as he could hope for, especially against the Packers, for which there are ZERO expectations for a Rookie QB.

Yeah, the Vikes are terrible this year. I can't blame the Packer fans for being pumped. Looks like another great season for the Pack is shaping up. Enjoy this while you can...as previously mentioned, no team will stay at the top for too long. I will watch the game, but it is shaping up to be a Packer blowout...then again, the Vikes generally play pretty good against the Pack. The Pack - Vikes games have seemed to always be good games over the years no matter how good or bad each team is doing.
