Has anyone ever painted a skid plate? What is the best to use. I would perfer to buy new but I can't find anyone who makes a pink one. Any suggestions? It would be for a 2012 IQ. Thanks

The point of a skid plate is to protect the sled if you plan to run over lots of branches are stumps etc. There is no way the paint will completly stay. If you ride lightly on really good trails theres a chance the majority of it will stick but most likely it will scrape off and just look worse.

I looked far and wide for you, no such luck. Get a red one and leave it out in the sun until next fall, maybe it will fade to pink!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I currently have a red on on there now. After some online research I think i will try the Krylon spray paint. Will see how long it lasts......also EZRA......sorry but a cat isn't an option :) LOVE my sled! It's a long way from the 81 John Deere my husband started me on over 13 years ago!
