Paste wax & textured plastic

anyone have any tried and true tips to remove paste wax from textured plastic? Crosstour I purchased someone was heavy handed with the paste wax and now have dried paste wax in the black textured plastic parts, looks like hell and would like to clear it out. Shoot2kill turned me on to Meguiars Insane shine which I use on all hard surfaces without any worries. Any recommendations to remove paste wax without damaging surface would be greatly appreciated.

Try a old style eraser. The kind from the OLD days.

Rubbing alcohol & a microfiber cloth, or a degreaser with microfiber cloth or any of the aforementioned with a nylon brush. Perhaps some warm water and Dawn dish soap.

Rp7x is a polishing freak. My guess is he’s on the right track.

When riding off trail find some low hanging pine tree branches with soft needles and drive through them at a good rate of speed.

There is such a thick layer of wax buildup on Rp7x sleds that it’s impossible to scratch LOL

Sorry late response, I tried magic eraser, no go. picked up some "chemical guys" spray made specifically for that but there was so much paste wax embedded in plastic it literally just beaded off of it, tried agitating it with a brush...no avail. Checked local auto parts store and did not have anything, contacted a customer who owns body shop and he brought me "High Teck Wipeout Surface Prep" and it did the trick, then hit it with the McGuiars "Ultimate Black" and all the textured black plastic again looks like new. Why oh why do people think waxing textured plastic is a good idea. Thank you for all the input! Much appreciated!!
