How cool!

I was reading a newspaper last night during dinner and came across a feature called "Gonzo Science." The Gonzo Science guys usually have an article in every issue, but I often skip over it. However, in this issue, the title of the article was "Ball lightning: The anomalist's wet dream"; this caught my eye and I kept reading. In the article, they discuss "Nocturnal lights," and they state "We'd include here the Paulding Light in Michigan, but we already debunked it as distant car lights distorted and magnified by a "lens" of tubular air currents [Gonzo Science in the field, January 20, 2009].

I know there has been a lot of discussion on JD about leylines, car lights, and other things. Has anyone heard about these tubular air currents? Maybe it was already discussed here, but I didn't read it. Regardless, I thought I'd chime in and say hi. Hope your summer is going well! Bring on the heat!

you are correct sir....a magnetic lens and a tubular air current and a leyline....are ALL ONE IN THE SAME....the tubular air current rides down the circular magnetic tube line of a magnetic leyline of the earths magnetic field...unfortunately mainstream science considers those events 3 seperate things...when actually they are 3 things within a magnetic leyline...see how the magnetic lens is tubular...and arranged in a quadrapole fassion....only the earths magnetic field has many more convex magnetic fileds...and that is how charged particles travel and emit different colored lights running down those lines

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetic_lens

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ley_line

The believers in ley lines think that the lines and their intersection points resonate a special psychic or mystical energy.[1] Ascribing such characteristics to ley lines has led to the term being classified as pseudoscience.

the sentence in the leylines should read....

The believers in ley lines think that the lines and their intersection points resonate "Ball lightning: The anomalist's wet dream "Nocturnal lights.[1] Ascribing such characteristics to ley lines has led to the term being classified as Gonzo Science

you see the similarities...a magnetic lens is nothing new....but dunbunked as car lights......negative.....just like for 50 years they debunked anyone that said an atom was made up of smaller pieces....they were wrong of course....which they are time and again...always keep an open mind because NOTHING is written in stone and NOTHING is what we are taught it is...ever

Went to see the light on Monday night when we were at the RunningBears. I really wanted to be a believer, but we were sure we saw headlights. I still believe that there is something else out there that we didn't see that night. We will just have to try again some other time.

(June 16) -- A 10-foot-tall, totally hairy trespasser on your property isn't the norm. Unless it's Bigfoot.

Well, that's what Tim Peeler claims he chased away from his North Carolina mountain house last week. Peeler told NewsChannel36 in Charlotte that he first heard unusual grunting and screeching outside his home. When he investigated the sounds, he said, he got close enough to the unwelcome intruder to poke it with a stick.

"The thing was 10 feet tall with beautiful hair, yellowish hair, and a yellow beard," the mountain man recalled.

A film still shows what former rodeo rider Roger Patterson said is the American version of the Abominable Snowman. He said pictures of the creature, estimated at 7 1/2 feet tall, were taken northeast of Eureka, Calif., in October 1967.

According to Peeler, who lives on top of a mountain near Casar, N.C., the creature left, but it later returned. He yelled at his unwanted visitor again, he said, and it finally took off. Peeler also noticed the beast had six fingers.

Peeler reported that the "beast" approached his dogs and somehow got wrapped up in their chains. "I rough-talked him and said, 'You get away from here.'"

WBTV.com said that Peeler called 911 at 3 a.m. and filed a suspicious person report. "It looked like a giant ape with a man's face, and it made a whistling sound," he told the 911 dispatcher. He was about nine or 10 feet tall with real long arms."

It's not the first time the legendary Bigfoot or Sasquatch has prowled this rural area of Cleveland County. In the 1970s, a creature dubbed "Knobby" was often spotted, eventually spawning its own Facebook page.

Sgt. Mark Self of the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office told NewsChannel36 he recalls being scared when he heard stories of Bigfoot sightings when he was 10 years old.

Tim Peeler claims he came face to face with Bigfoot at his North Carolina mountain home. Peeler reports that he poked at the 10-foot-tall blond-haired creature with a stick and yelled at it before it left his property.

"It was killing animals and breaking into barns and killing chickens," he said, adding that he's not really that frightened anymore.

Self takes a more official attitude now about reports of any large, hairy, unknown animals. "We're working up here, so if we see something, we'll try to capture it and take it into custody."

In his 911 call, Peeler added that "This thing was messin' with my dogs and tryin' to get to my back porch. If he comes too close to me, I'm gonna kill him.

"Would I get in any trouble if I shot and killed this beast, this animal or whatever it is?"

That's a good question, and one the 911 dispatcher couldn't answer.

Peeler realizes his story is dubious at best. So he plans to have a camera nearby next time Knobby comes to visit.

A digital camera that takes good nighttime shots would be really helpful.
WATCH OUT MRSRUNNINGBEAR he may be coming back up north :)
