My first sled was a '74 kitty Cat that I still have and have hanging in my garage. I can remember me and my buddy's riding double on it back then. (sorry for the crappy cell pic)

Then in 1980 my Dad bought this for me, my first real sled!! Musta put a million miles on it in the yard and around our subdivision. Rode it til 1987-88, great sled.(not my actual sled but the same)

Some of your first sleds are newer than my current sled. This isn't my first, but it is pretty close to vintage now. 1999 XC SP 700. Catch a lot of crap from my buddies, cuz' this is the sled I still currently run. Was gonna upgrade this year, but can't let go of the ole' girl. I like being low slung--feel as though I have total control of the sled at all times. The new rider forward sleds will certainly be in my future, but will take some getting use to. Feel like I'm a crow perched atop a tree on those things. I guess I'm old school, but this sled has been absolutely bullet proof, and still in great shape. Always maintained the way it should be, and has never let me down. I will say though that after riding a friends 08' Renegade for a couple hours, things have definitely come a long ways. My thought is if you ain't sore after a day of ridin', you ain't been ridin'!! Who knows, maybe next year, I'll upgrade to an 02 or 03, and really ride in comfort:).

1982 Yamaha Bravo

There was a speedo but can't remember how many thousands of miles were put on going around the house :)

Got it when I was 6 and it was the best Christmas yet (at least at that point).

1976 Arctic Cat Lynx bought new for me by my parents. It's good to be the oldest and get a sled for a x-mas present when you're 8 years old!

The Lynx is currently sitting in my garage surrounded by two black M8s; my how things have changed and how much they've stayed the same. :D

Check out that purple pinstripe in the seat!

First ones that I can remember as a kid were an El Tigre, EXT, Wildcat, 2 Cougars, and a good ol' Jag.

I still have my first Jag under the original cover in the back shed. 1980 2000. Runs great w/less than 2000 miles on her. My nephew caught a tree a decade ago, so it has a slight ding in the bumper.
