This was our girl, Molly. She's been gone 10 years now but what a dog! She loved to go out in the boat and she loved the water.
This dog would do a belly flop off the stern before I could get the anchor set.

And this is our current Pup. Maggie is a rescue, she's a cross between a Yellow Lab and a Fox Terrier.
Loves people, hates squirrels!

It would be pretty redundant to post pics of the pups in my life, but my brother, who lives just south of Houghton, rescued a beautiful guy named Hershel. Here is a shot of Grace hanging out with him.
He's a true gentleman and full of love. My brother hit the puppy jackpot with him. He's 4 years old.

We just lost our 13 year old dog 2 weeks ago. She was the best dog we have ever had. We sure miss her.

This is our Bernedoodle, Bascom. He's 3 and is just the happiest, friendliest dog ever. Makes me smile everyday.

We just lost our 13 year old dog 2 weeks ago. She was the best dog we have ever had. We sure miss her.

Mspease, I am putting my dog down today, agree, very sad day but she is having bad seizures among other issues which have made the pain too much. She was our first rescue and was an awesome dog, we think she is around 10 years old but we didn't get very good records on her. She will be going to a better place very soon, we'll miss Riley and I think she will miss living in the Northwoods.

Here is our silver lab Rev. We picked him up just before Thanksgiving. He was around 9 months old when we got him. He loves to play fetch, go for rides in the truck & play in the snow. Pretty soon we will see what kind of swimmer he is. Never had a lab that didn't do well at that.

Yes, This is my third one and none have been easy, they are all different. We will take some time and ten we will get another dog, they are great companions.

Sorry to hear that pclark. Very tough indeed! Dogs just don't live long enough.
