Playing in the snow

We ended up with about 6-8" here in Cloquet. Made some laps around the yard, went sliding, and then decided to combine the two sports.

Looks like a good time!! Great pic with the 120 pulling the sled! Nice looking place as well!

elf,

Looks like it was a blast. I'm still waiting for enough of the white stuff to get out around the yard.

You beat me to it.

UBEE get lucky,play in snow

You got one? Congrats. My dad went up in that neck of the woods about 3 yrs ago and shot a bull. I remember we were going up to the cabin the weekend he was suposed to be coming back and when we got there we saw something strange leaning against the door. Then we walked up to it and it was a moose leg so I knew he'd got one.

Nice pic of the tunnel. Much nicer than the old road around the cliff.

I was really surprised coming back at lack of snow along the lake on the north shore compared to just across the bay by Poplar WI. There had to be more snow on top of the hill! there was about 8-10 in on Canadien side where I was! got real lucky got 2

Yeah, there's always more snow up over the hill. Last year when we went up over christmas it was bare along the lake shore and then 3 miles away we had 20"+. One guy up just a bit north of Finland said they'd gotten 8-10". We won't be up again until probably Christmas so I'm hoping it keeps adding up.

In 2009 we went up in April and the grass was showing along 61 all the way up there but there had to be 2-3 feet everywhere we rode that weekend. The lake is an amazing heat source in the winter and cooling source in the summer.
