Plutchaks C-Store in Mass City Closed

Drove through Mass City on the way to Toivola this weekend, was very surprised to see Putchak's gas station was closed down. Something to keep in mind of you're counting on stopping there for fuel. Hopefully somebody re-opens the place before next season!

Yeah, found out the hard way fri night. Word is someone bought it... so we will see what happens. Stayed @ henry's fri & sat night's & every other call was "do you have gas?"

Does the gas cost more with no eth, because it doesn't have it? And is that why the station in mass has the eth?

I really don't know but I still have 3 carb'd sleds and with all the mechanical stuff, rubber and plastic, non eth is better especially if the gas is not treated or sits any period of time.

Ethanol is garbage period. I always make the extra 2 mile hike to fill up at Pats when I need gas in that area.

We saw Henry's wife at the Watersmeet casino saturday night and she said the same thing. Quite a few calls to see if they had the pump working....
FWIW i've never bought bad gas at Plutchaks...

Ditto- but I like living on the edge, nothing but 87 or 91 with eth in my '09 shift-5000 mi., and '11 600 swithback 3500 miles
and no issues.

But I do try to live right

Is someone taking it over then? I always thought it was a nice place. Sat at there little snack table and cooked a pizza there once, gave the cashier girl all heck. Hope they get gas again.
