This is big. I bet 5 years from now these are going to be king of the hill. Already they are on snowest making fun of those who still ride sleds or couches as they call them.

has the,....Torque,... applied via "timbersled kit" to the bike swing arm frame connection been calculated in when designing the bike?....NO!...
of course not....the bike was designed for a rear wheel, not a track.
Or do it get beefed up with the "kit"

Did Polaris even consider the liability that they represent with the acquisition of a "kit"?
This is a joke, right?

I hope they start selling them attached to a bike selling them as a snow machine . In MN u can no longer use them on state land or trails unless it was built and sold as a snowmobile.
I was vocal agents the wording . but I can see the issue with track kits on sxs and meeting in corners on narrow trail . but the bikes are skinny. funny poo will own a product illegal to use in there own state.
2 buds snow checked them last week .I went with 1 today to check out a new RMZ450 . not a cheep set up when all said and done u will be in to at least 13g

Will Polaris buy snohawk next?

at least snowhawk was designed as a vehicle on it's own....no "kit" to hack on.

Poo is getting bigger all the time. I was amazed to read today that sled sales account for less than 7% of Poo's $4.4B in annual sales, and less than the Victory and Indian motorcycle lines. That's surprising to me!

The Snowhawk was by no means a turd. Yes top heavy but I spent 3 seasons riding a 600 and a buds 503F. The Timbersled is easier to ride in terrain for sure and more agile in that scenario. The thing I missed when on the Timbersled however was the power of my 600. On the Hawk you are able to lay it down and blow the back end out ripping sick donuts or high speed corners while the Timbersled (unless on boost) just does not have that ability. In the short time Timbersled has been building track kits I do believe they are more refined than what the Snowhawk was. As a Hawk owner I spent countless hours in the shop correcting things the done wrong by AD Boivin. It was however the Ultimate Ditch banging forest road ripping tool. The Timbersled is a one ski with a knack for technical terrain like no other! Bring one with when backcountry on your sled and send them in to explore before you take the sled in! They can go sick places! Also don't forget that Polaris and KTM have had past relationships! Hmmm.

I need to win the lottery so I can have both!
