Polaris Edge Brake Light

I have a 2004 switchback that the brake light does not work, neither the one on the dash or the one above the rear bumper. I tried changing the taillite bulb and still nothing. Anybody have any ideas? The wiring back by the bumper looks fine, and they are tight.

brake light switch could be the issue. Another guy with an 04 switchback just posted a question about this. I had a similar problem with my 05 xc sp 500 and it was the switch by the brake lever. Problem is they are like $50!!! I got a used one for $25

Just a thought. I had the same thing with an old sled I bought this fall. It turned out the Previous owner had the seat off or maybe the caliper. Didn't plug the wires back in to the pressure switch. Plugged it back in and all was good. Hope yours is as simple a fix as this was.

Well I pulled the brake switch wiring apart and reassembled it and now the brake light works fine. Thanks for the responses guys.
