go for it..i've got the 600 fusion and love it. Ride the handling are great. the steering is a little bit on the heavy side. I went with the slydog skis and '09 spindles and that cured it.

The 700 is the big block motor, and they are known to have vibration problems. The 600 is the HO motor and it very good. So just keep that in mind. There is a TON of information on the Fusions out there. They stopped making them for a reason.... Although I 100% agree the ride is very good. Just the motor issues (900's for the most part) caused the name to be a bad thing. The Fusion was the first "IQ" set up. I had the 06 600HO myself, and loved it. If it needs a new track, you are looking at $500 or $600. At that milage, I'm sure it needs a lot of maintenance if the guy hasn't done any. Shocks, checking the suspension, etc. I don't think $3k is a "great" deal. If you can get it for $2500 or less, that would be maybe worth it.... in my opinion.

700-900

Ive just recently heard about the enginge problems with the 700/900's, thats a little scary that they only made the 700 for one year, and yeah the sled sounds a little abused, I think Im gonna pass on it and try to find a 600, Ive always like the Fusion and havent owned one yet so Im gonna stick to that model.

The fusion has the same suspension as the IQ, just not as updated as the latest models. The 700 is actually a 755 and we had one in a RMK for testing and if you could get over the "problems" I liked it more then the 08M8 we had. It seemed to have more grunt, but this was noise testing so basically idle to wide open drag racing type driving, but from a rolling start.

You are better off with poo IQ. Poo stopped making Fusions for good reasons went to IQ. The 700 really 755 was bad but not awful the 900 was awful but great for milkshakes.lol Some guys had 700 hesitations & of course bad engine vibrations. You can get a good deal on a bunch of older IQs why deal with Fusion problems when you know IQ is better?

nothing wrong with a 600 fusion, it's actually the next sled i hope to buy, i think it has a nice "muscle" like look to it.

Just don't get an 05 fusion! It didn't have top end because of the weight of the recall stickers. LOL. I traded it in on a 2010 Dragon and it has been in about as many times. I am trying to stay loyal however it is tough.
