I got to ride one today for @45 miles. Best ride I've experienced. The harder you charged thru the bumps,...the better. Steering light but responsive, Weight tranfer amazingly good. (I about had it scoot out from under me the 1st corner). Engine poweer good through the range,...no stumbles or flat spots at any time. Started 1st pull every time. Windshiled may not be tall enough for a big person. HAndle bars warmers gor really nice and warm. I did not get mileage.

Having become some waht of a cynic on 1st year models,...I couldn't find any down sides on the Rush. Based on today's experience,...I beleive Polaris got this one right !

Not for me

Looks like they are going backwards in suspension design. I had bad experience with Polaris in their XP ATV. I would go with the Doo.
BTW: they robed the ATV parts bin and put it their sled.

RangerX, what is your experience on a RUSH? Probably about the same as mine, ZERO. Read the rules.

I saw some going for 8k too! i can't believe it i thought i would never see under 9k! kens sports by me has like 5 of them for around 8k and sportomotive by me has i think 3 of them for around 8k

I will take one out for a demo ride the next time I take in my XP for repairs at the Polaris dealer.

Rush Ride

Hopefully I will get to ride my friend's Rush in the near future. So far his only complaints are that it is cold to ride because of the non-existent windshield. Also snow accumulates on his back. It is not as fast as he would like it but I have to believe it won't be long before they cram an 800 in it. My friend is 54 and has been riding for about 50 of those years. The guy in the review said he was 29 and he was impressed. If Pol can build a sled that appeals to that much of an age demographic they definately might be on to something. Especially if it really does get hi-teens gas mileage as the review says.

They already have the 800 in the works for 2011.... Still not sold on the thing, but maybe if they work up the back end some to it's not so stubby looking, it will be better.

I guess I'd rather have something that works well rather than something that looks pretty, JMO.

2010 Rush may be like 2003 Rev beavertail. 2004 Rev much more refined. Hope so.... don't like comments that riders are getting snow thrown on their backs. You look at the design & that is first doubt reaction.

The Rush is the real deal, I got 200 miles thru ditch and trail riding and this sled rocks.....
The weight transfer is wonderfull you if you see a studder bump coming up just sit back or stand towrds the rear, nail it and the skis come up and float right over it, and the 600 creates awesome power, cant wait to get her on the UP trails.

How is that different than other brand sleds??? Or are you saying this is new for Poo sleds?? Most new AC, Yam & Doos already do that just a set up adjustment.

I'll like to see what the sled looks like in (3) years or so when the powdercoating starts to come loose on all the hardware....if you trade a sled every two years this will not probably bother you, if you keep your sleds, might be a different story.....JMO
