I think the poll is who do you like best, not who advanced music the most...just saying.....Stones are way better than the Beatles.

yamahauler you maybe correct in some cases but the beetles later music is alot better than when the stones were trying that goofy disco stuff

I voted for the Stones but I have to admit Sgt Pepper was an innovative album. When I was young I had all the Beatles stuff but as I got older it all got replaced with Stones. Don't know exactly what that indicates. The first ten or so years of the Stones is the best - after about 1975 it went downhill. The fact that Keith Richards is even still alive also should count for something.

Both good bands. But very different.

Beatles were so much more advanced and talented as a group. And as individual musicians. Music, lyrics, singing and harmonizing.

None of the above. Stones in concert is a total waste of money. Beatles and the comment about being more popular than God, lost me.

Beatles. I study their music, their melodies are incredible. Sometimes I find that their music is so simple but sounds so complex. For instance their piano arrangements sound great but are easily learned and played. The amount of music and what they did in 7 years is just amazing. I believe they were a gift to the world.

I loved the show the Beatles had where they would get in crazy situations and run all over the place. I don't know why they called the show "The Monkeys", but the music they played in that show sounded just like the music they had recorded on their "Beatles" albums.

The Monkee's were the Beatles? that's funny

The Monkee's were actors they put together to be a Group in a TV show, based a Beatle's Like group, Like the Partridge family.
They became The Monkees's because of the show.
