Porkies accident?

I just read on the Bergland Bay Bar's website that there were a couple of accidents recently...one guy went off the trail and struck a tree near Watersmeet and ended up with a broken leg while the other guy was near the Porkies and had to be airlifted out.

Anyone have details? Prayers for all...stay safe and slow down!

wondering if the air lift was today...had one go over the resort heading south said a prayer as it went over

Oh and heard nothing about watersmeet yet

It was before noon and everyone on the trail was behaving.I didn't see any misbehavior or craziness.Now there will always be the rider who pushes his sled to the limits and loses. We rode by the accident after it happened and the authorities were putting equipment away. We didn't see or hear a heliocopter but that doesn't mean there wasn't one. I hope the rider survived the Porkies accident, as there are a lot of sleds up here now and one has to be on his best rider skill.

Help, friend hurt, looking for info

Looking for more info..., A friend of mine was involved in an accident. I just received a text today, but there are no details. SHE was riding in the U.P., don't know where yet. It could be a porkies incident. Anyone see or hear of a young woman getting injured?

I pray for the people involved in these accidents. Their families and friends as well.

Well I agree about accusations regarding accidents and deaths being reported on this site with regards to the friends and families involved 100%, I believe snowman357 was being partially if not totally sarcastic (giving benefit of the doubt here, I sure hope he was seeing he posted on the 2 kids hurt thread the same thing.) as there have been many posts on here regarding accidents and deaths and the thread always turns into it was "speed and or alcohol involved". I am not saying his post was right or wrong but that is my is my take on what was typed.

Prayers go out to everyone involved.
