Putting a modular home on property in ishpeming michigan

We are interested in putting a modular home on our property up north. First where is a good dealer in the up ? What are the steps from begining? A dealer in northern wisconsin would be ok also. Time to start planning because we want to put the home up while were working here in northern illinois and move up there soon after its built . My family has finally reached a point where we are all ready to leave this area . Thanks . I can picture hitting the garage door opener and going for a snowmachine ride right from my garage .

There are a few dealers in the Iron Mountain and Escanaba area. I'm not sure about that area. Start with the Marquette Co building dept and they should be able to help. You will also have to the Zoning dept for Ishpeming.

Modular or Manufactured

Check with your planning and zoning peeps and see what your taxes will be with a modular. If you don't need a basement, go manufactured, might save some money. Upgrade all you can, ours doesn't even look like a "doublewide trailer". Sadly our company Wick, is no longer. We bought from American Homes in Hayward WI
