All the time...absolutely the best time to ride...take gas on a dog sled like 5 5 gallon cans and stash in woods for fueling station...we ride till 3am or so...in a blizzard even...snowing is the bomb

Only down side about running the trails late at night to me is Deer!
Taken 2 out after midnight. Got really lucky both times that I didn’t crash. I hit one on a morning ride too, it can happen at any time

I have always enjoyed night riding, like most have said you can see the sleds coming, it is great to st¥op and shut the sleds off. In northern MN it can get cold fast after the sun goes down though. Back in the early 70's we used to love riding on nights with a full moon, we would ride with our lights off and only turn them on if we saw other sleds coming towards us. (the lights had an on/off switch back then )

When I was a kid my family belonged to the local club. The club ride was weekly, on a weeknight. Each week they would plan to stop at a different bar/restaurant for chili, hot beef, etc at the end of the ride. Went on a couple with my Dad but it was the Devil to Pay getting up for school the next morning. Riding at night has a special feel to it.
