I bought a used set of rekon bibs sized 2x online, and I was surprised at the sizing. I was debating between looking for a 2x or a regular xl, and it turns out the 2x are borderline too small. They are much more "athletic" fit than baggy, and they seem short in the front (the top of the front of the bibs is just below the chest, where I thought they typically go up to about midchest), although the straps extend long enough I can still use them. I weigh more than the last time I bought bibs so that could be the issue also! And my old bibs are at least 10 years old.
I am concerned about the fit, in case I need to put a couple extra layers on in the extreme cold. If I was buying new, I'd say I'd need a tall size at least, but I'm willing to deal extending the straps most of the way out for the price. The materials, zippers, construction, quality, etc. seem outstanding though. If you own a pair of rekon bibs, let me know about the sizing. I'm about 6' 3" 245 lbs. Probably should be about 225/230.
