Steady rain here too. Enough to wash the salt off the car on the way to work. If this is winter, bring on the spring so I can get some work done.

Drizzle here in Wetmore. Got about an inch of snow too. Freezing rain too. It's a mix of everything. Hopefully the temp will drop soon so we get some snow. That should make the trails good for one more day of riding!

This "so-called" winter bites.
I sure hope it changes for the better SOON!
Had the day off, and was going to go to the U.P.
Everything is glare ice.
This sucks.

I here ya bigvin!! If it wasn't for the fact that my stuff is paid for I think I would get out.
Between coordinating work, the weather not to mention getting group together I've just about had it. Very frustrating.

Hey YooperMike...we are gonna be at our cabin in Curtis this weekend, and I am wondering if it is worth towing the sleds along...what do conditions out north look like?

Thanks!

You probably have better snow there. I rode on Sunday from the 455/453 intersection north to camp 1 trail area. Camp 1 had about 20" of snow on the ground. Did some carving, but with the heavy rain yesterday and re-freeze last night, I'm sure it's like a block of ice now. It is currently snowing, big white fluffies, and maybe 2" has accumulated since it started this morning. If you're sticking to the trails, you'll probably be OK. But I wouldn't expect too much for powder fun-time snow. Hoping for the opposite tho! If we don't get another thaw, what is there now will provide an excellent base.
