Recommendations for Northwoods snowmobile getaway

Looking for recommendations for areas to go with great accommodations in either Northern WI or lower area of UP. Some type of cabin preferred. Only looking to accommodate for either a couple or small group. Have had some good stays over the years, but mainly with bigger groups. Just looking for something new and in good locale for snowmobiling (with good maintenance of trails too.) Considering maybe just an extended weekend to start, but in the coming years maybe a week's vacation. I assume plenty here had had some great stays over the years and know some good snowmobiling honey holes. Let me know your input/experiences. TIA.

Gateway lodge in Lando is good for quick trips. cabin feel with some added extras to enjoy if you choose.
Boulder Jct. Big Bear Hideaway has very nice cabins and great owners, several different sizes depending on number of people. Also stayed a place called Mean Arlene's in boulder, small house and access to the garage when we were there.
Bruces Crossing had a small house as well that was nice, do not recall the name, it was right on 45 just north of the trail there.

Gateway Lodge in Lando is always a good choice and usually my 1st. Love sitting near the fireplace in the morning to have coffee and to plan out the day ahead. Great trail access, nice little bar and hot tub as well. Some good places to eat... Bear Trap, Asana Suka, Twilight Supper Club, Bauer's Damn for Lunch and Pine Cone or Sunrise for Brkfst. And if into Gambling Lac Vieux is not too far along with the Paulding Light for something to do a night.

Awesome suggestions. Much appreciated. The Gateway sounds familiar. Haven't been to Land o Lakes in years. Does it have individual cabins or is it a hotel? (Guess I could just Google it too. lol.) Does Bent's Camp have cabins to stay in? Just thought of that place too. Only thing if I go to UP is have to make sure I pay for their trail pass too. Keep the suggestions coming. Thanks.

That great room area with that massive fireplace is really something!! good eats too!

Lakewoods Resort on Lake Namakagon Cable WI has lodge rooms, condos and cabins. Bar, restaurant , pool, hot tub, very dog friendly. That is were we stayed ALOT before I moved to Iron River WI from IA 19yrs ago. If you don't need all that I suggest TopOtheMorn (in my neighborhood) Nice quiet cabins and great owners. Also TriLakeTimbers.

Stayed at Lakewoods a few times. Even attended the famous Weenie Roast with the speed runs and ice drags. Good times. After the last one we went to, however, there was some disgruntlement w/the owner. Things were cancelled with weather, etc. People had a hard time getting refunds, etc. Also, stayed at Garmisch's a couple of times. That was good too. Things got a little expensive, however. Cable is certainly a nice area with a wide variety of trails.

Finally got a chance to do a little Googling. Didn't realize the Gateway had all of that. Looks very nice. Boondock seems quite aways away, but looks like it offers multi season fun. The Little Black Shack must be quite aways as well. It appears pretty unique! Tri Lake Timbers seems to have quite a variety of accommodations.

Bergland and Boondock are a little further and then add the time change to eastern time zone, that is a quick hour on the road! Krupps in close to Boondock, worth a look as well.
If your entertaining going to the Keweenaw look at Centennial Cottages in Calumet. Close to town and Marylyn and Jose are great hosts! You can easily do everything from Houghton, and a little south to the tip from there.

stayed at boondock when it was called Omers, also stayed at Parkview many a times when it was first built, it is a nice area, Boondockers really did a nice job revamping the place and has good food and right up road from Krupps and Parkview so you have your choices of eats and a place to gas up. Only negative I will say about it is there is only one way in and one way out of the area going north or south for lots of miles, with 109 out,13 loop closed and Freda loop closed lots of straight line riding going north or south and would be same trail in and out each day. I like Gogebic namely Root Cellar, nice place food, bar, gas been staying there for probably last 20 plus years, other food places on lake easy accessible, Bergland at top of lake, can trail out of that area in any direction you basically want to, easy day ride to copper harbor and back if so desire, 102 to porkies a very nice trail, Military hill nice trail. nice area to base out of IMO. New owners at Root are GREAT! food always good, nice rooms, just recently stayed in luxury suite, was very nice!
