Kemosabi is now closed? I have noticed that the webcam hasn't been updated since 6/6/11.

Just called Kemosabi Cabins, and they are open and taking reservations for winter.
Not sure whats up with the web cam but if you look closely, many of the cams across the UP have old pictures on them right now. They probably just get overlooked until the snow starts flying..

Interesting.. Owner told me he was closing last month. Now I am really confused because we had reservations over X-mas and we had to find other options.

Anybody hear anything about Red Fox Inn and why they closed. Is the property for sale?

From what I have heard just not enough business. I'm assuming its like everything at sawyer and it's all for sale. If looking for a place to stay out there Macasu properties is about the best deal around if a bigger group.
