I'm looking at getting a 2015 Ski-Doo Renegade 1200x. My only concern is I have a 10' Triton enclosed trailer. With the extra length of the Renegade, how will it fit in my trailer? Anyone else doing this? Or should I just go with MXZX? Thanks.
I use to put a 05 gade in a 10 clam shell up it was tight, the ski tips were touching the front and would have to push in the snow flap when I closed the lid.
not so fast there zimmer.
is it a clam shell ?
if it is a clam that has the nose that kind of rounds over the fr of the trailer u can drive ski up in to the round over and shut the lid. my bud gets a 153m in a 10 foot Triton u will never open the fr with it in there but u can make it fit
My 144" switchback fits just fine in our 10' glacier. I bought a 12' triton though because I planned on going longer and I already did... Like Ezra said utilize the front nose it'll fit fine its only a 136. We used to put a 136 2up in our 10' all the time wasn't even close to tight.
I have a 2014 Renegade and a 10' Triton. It fits just fine, run the skis all the way forward and you should be good, before you open the clam make sure the sled didn't slide back during the trip or you will scratch your bumper forcing it open.
I own a 2008 10' Triton clam shell trailer. My 2013 renegade fits in it with no problem at all. You have to run the skis a little over the curved edge at the front. My friend owns a new viper with the 136" track and his sled fits in there also. The only problem we have with his is that his flap angles out a little more so when we lift the trailer up we have to make sure that it does not catch on the trailer shell. You will be surprised as to how far the skis can go forward over the curved portion of the trailer shell when loading.
