I've been riding in the up since the mid 90's. Times had change since then back then if you were stuck somebody would stop and help you.If you were broke down somebody would tow you.And if it was a local guy that stoped he would do anything in his power to help you get back on the trail.You would try to give them money you would almost have to sneak it in there pockets because they would refuse.About a month ago i got stuck by myself 5 feet from the trail 4 sleds drove by didn't stop.2 weeks ago i was sitting on the side of the trail by myself again taking a break with my hood up nothing wrong just checking things out atleast 10 to 15 sleds went by not one check if everything was ok.I guess those days are gone nowadays i think it's 30% real snowmobilers that would help and 70% ricky racer/bobby boondocker/trail terrorists that just don't give a F@$%##.
