I know some of you are already using this app....Ride command from Polaris....I just found it, and downloaded it to my phone....I'm still learning it, and will be trying it out in the next couple of weeks....but basically it looks like you can set it up to track people in your group that you are riding with...(it's a gps map app).....Really a neat thing to have if you ride in bigger groups or just want a gps map of your ride...I have to give Polaris props for this cool app.

Yep, I've been using that for a few years, it just recently changed it's name and originally came out as RiderX. If you think that is cool, check out Poo's IDD gauge they came out with in 2015 with the new Axys. Coolest gauge in the industry. There are some good Youtube videos on them.

Yes it does, plus you can chose between 4 gauge displays, switch back and forth between the gauges and the gps map, see incoming phone calls and text messages, and the list goes on. Whenever there is an update, you simply load it onto a thumb drive and go install the update on the gauge. I love mine!

That is cool....we plan to use it on our annual group ride...we will put my buddy up front with his Polaris...and tag me and another guy...put one of us in the middle of the pack, and one at the end...and see how it works...we have around 15 riders..i'd like to tag everybody..but we have several older riders who don't own smart phones.

I've ridden all over the Western UP, even up to Big Bay, and never an issue. The gauge on the sled is by GPS, not your cell phone signal.

Ya I tracked my 523 mile Valentines ride last year. Never lost service. Cool to then lay that out on google maps and see how far we went!!

IDD on my sled. Then transfered to USB to look at on computer. Never would have had cell coverage for that whole deal.

You pre-download the entire state. You don't need any cell signal at all now.

I download Michigan, Ontario and Wisconsin. It allows 3 states at a time.
