Hope your son recovers quickly! My son is 19 scared the sh.....t out of him.

Wow I cant even tell what kind of car that was. This thread is making me happy my kids are 6, 3 and 3 - a long ways from driving!

I kind of wish mine would have been scared a little more. He's feeling it, but it's hard to drill a lesson into a 19 year old male when everyone (cops, EMT, Doc's, tow truck driver and junk yard guy) tells him "if you would of been wearing your seat belt you'd be a lot worse or even dead." Just adds to the invincible feeling they all have at that age. He hears everyone, but I'm not sure how much of a difference it will make...

Glad you son came through it ok. It's amazing how well protected they can be when they are belted in and the air bags go off.
