I am actually thinking about going to get the boat out of storage today and it is still march.
don't think that last ride is coming this yr.may as well start buffing waxing and bottom painting.

think I saw 15 bikes out yesterday

I am thinking I will have my boat in as soon as next week and skiing. This will set a record for us. We have been skiing in late march in the past but never this early.
What riding we did get in this year was very good but way to little.

Yep...it's done. What is the deal with the weather this year?? Makes me wonder if it's going to be a summer of constant 95 degree temps. Crazy crazy....

Amazing.
Just as I was reading this, I glanced out the window and
saw a couple on their pedal bikes (with NO jackets) pedal by,...
then a group of 4 Harleys (couples) ride by.
Windows are all open and it feels great.
Season Changes,.....

Washed the Sled yesterday and then took my 74 Firebird our for a cruise. If I wasn't working today would be crusin it again today.

WOW what parts do you live in I am in MN west metro we still have a thick sheet of ice.I was just out fri with the auger and was 48feet from shore and ice was over 20in bad ice but still ice

I just got mine out of the barn. Taking it to the merc guy to make sure the motor is up to par on Wednesday. It's just about time to start the spring jig on Erie!

Last weekend snowmobiling around Price County. Today-70mi cycle trip around central IL. Didn't see a groomer all day :cool:

Went for a drive to check out the Wisconsin River in Stevens Point after getting back from sledding saw at least a dozen boats out on the water, son decided to take his stand up Jet Ski out on it. Snowmobiling yesterday and jet sking today, unbelievable.

Our lake ice usually goes out around April 15th, give or take a couple of days. I think it will be way early this year obviously. The lake is a big puddle on top of the water today. Just over a week ago, we had 18" of fresh snow on it.

I decided to forget about any more snowmobiling this year.
So I uncovered my Goldwing Trike today, fired it up and went for a short ride.
Let the good times roll !!!!!!!!!

Boat is going to stay in storage for another month.

Our lake has same yearly ice break timing but thinking going to break in March with rain 60s & 70s all week. I think my 100' of Floe dock could be in by April 15th depending on water level, temp & my motivation. Crazy winter maybe JD can give us a Spring /Summer season forecast just for grins & giggles.:)

Looking forward to getting the camper out here. It is wintered in my shop and takes up to much room. I want my shop back. Hope to try some early camping this year.
