It's a farewell to Skip, and as earlier stated these jobs involve the desire to do what's best for the sport and how to promote it, sometimes they are thankless jobs. But those that want to be involved for what ever reasons do deserve thanks just for wanting to be involved. Our area does depend on tourism and we need to be open to all activities that willl bring people and businesses to our area and hopefully jobs. No one can say Skip's passion for motorsports for our area was not, 1st. on his agenda, he was a black and white person, you either liked him or not, but he had passion. Some times change is good, but then again it can be change, but again thank God we have the rights to have open forums, elections, organizations, and the rights to vote. Yesterday was a great example of how 1 vote can change an out come for a seat, yes 1 vote made a differance for 1 of the positions for Mi- Trale. Sometimes your not happy with the results , but if you voted you know in your heart your vote counted for you and your beliefs and rights. GET OUT AND VOTE, also if your NOT HAPPY with ORV/ATV, snowmobile, ski, walking, or horse trails get involved make a difference. IF YOU CAN SPARK AN INTEREST IN A COMMUNITY FOR OTHER EVENTS SUCH AS ROAD RALLIES, SNOWMOBILE EVENTS,ATV/ORV, MOTORCYCLE anything get involved, if you have time VOLUNTEER to groom, trail clean up, board member, don't just sit back and complain about how things should be, do something in your community or one that you visit. Thank you Skip for your years of service, make a differance keep on Lansing get us more trails through the other clubs your involved in, KEEP THE PASSION!
