Wow what a great weekend, there is fresh snow and snowmobiles everywhere. The trails are taking a beating but we are out there trying to keep them smooth for everyone. We hope everyone has a great three-day weekend!
Trail #3 North to Rockland is in GOOD condition with a couple wet spots.

The trails are very nice now, we were able to recover them after last weekends huge amount of riders. Our groomers are out every night keeping them in shape. There are a few spots that are not great but overall you will have a good ride.

We had a quick warmup yesterday but the temps are back down and should be colder all next week with some snow in the forecast We were not able to groom last night with the warm weather but will get back at it tonight.

We have about four inches of fresh snow in the last 24 hours. We have one groomer down for a couple days so we will be alternating with one machine, it will go east in the morning and then west in the evening. We should be back to normal by Thursday.
When I report “base” that is the depth of the un-groomed snow on my yard in Sidnaw. There is no possible way to accurately report what the depth is under your snowmobile on the groomed trail, it varies widely. There is around 20" of snow in the yard.

We have around two inches of fresh snow from yesterday but the wind was blowing pretty hard so it didn’t stay in place. Plenty of cold air also so the trails have firmed up and are holding nicely. Both of our machines are out there every evening keeping the trails in good shape.
Ware having our 5th annual trail side hotdog cookout today, from around 11:00 until 3:00 ish. Stop by and have a hotdog on us!

Groomer Report: 2-22-16
We were able to get back out grooming last night and started getting our trails back in shape after the weekend warm up and rain. The trails still have a good amount of snow on them and hopefully they will tighten up after the grooming last evening and into this morning. We do have several wet spots that showed up on trail #3 between Bruce Crossing and Rockland so be cautious on that trail.
Trail #3 North to Rockland is in GOOD condition with some WET areas, use CAUTION.

We are out grooming on a regular schedule, the trails still have a good amount of snow on them but it is becoming “sugary” which means it doesn’t hold together very well. We have several wet spots that showed up on trail #3 between Bruce Crossing and Rockland so be cautious on that trail. There are some thin areas all over our system but still very rideable. I would call our trails good in the early morning and fair in the afternoon.
