Anyone have some input on the Snobunje? Do a fair amount of offtrail so I get stuck now and again. You'll have that!

It works well. We keep them in stock at our dealership. It's a good investment and saves the back. Hope this helps.

how big a crane did it take to get the RX-1 ton unstuck?

Nice motor, good sled for ON trail! Not so much off trail.

Snowbungies are great!

Thanks all! What do you prefer- the sled to sled Snobunje or the model with the handle? Great pics as well- Polaris Rider- whatcha ride? I have been quite pleased with my 08 Dragon Switchback. Had a buddy do some custom graphics. I hope it is snowing in the UP as I type. Really would like to get up middle of the month.

Tip: If you get stuck the way I get stuck, you would never put the snobunje hook on the ski loop. Hook 1 end of loop to A arm other end to another sleds rear bumper. Save your back. Note: strap on back of sled. this is to save from scratches.

jourdanbennett- that is the homo way to use a snobunje;<font color="ff0000">&#149;</font><font color="ff0000">&#149;</font><font color="ff0000">&#149;</font><font color="ff0000">&#149;</font><font color="ff0000">&#149;</font> was actually really icy up on top of the ridge so they did that for safety;-)

jimfsr- What makes it worse is that it is an RX-1 mountain so it was a 151 under that snow/slush. It was actually easy to get it out, 2 guys on the snobunge and 2 on the other ski and it popped right out. Without the snobunje we would not have gotten it out.

Buddies of mine were out west a couple of years ago and got their truck stuck and used a sled and a snobunje to get the truck out. All on video too, otherwise I would not have believed it myself.

Great tool for little money.

Make note what my snow flap says. (in above pic) I tell all my buds to be towed by me, to read it out loud. lol. Nothing like a 06 RMK big block 755 when you need a tug.

I prefer the one person bungee with a handle. I have been in too many situations where you can't use the sled to sled one back in woods. You can always hook a tow strap around the handle if you need a sled to sled bungee.

So if I wanted to buy one of them and not the combo, go with the handle one and tie a strap to the handle to make the sled to sled?

polarisrider1, are you using an extra extension strap b/t your cobra and the two sleds?

Also, I'd think you could just use the strap that dangels on cobra as a hand hold... I'm sure that's it's intent. See attached

My bro's got a rattler (with D handle)... Cuzz, you didn't break that handle pulling on it with a sled in the past?

We use flat nylon straps. Similar to the flat nylon strap on ratchet straps. We have different lengths for different situations. I keep a short 3-4 footer in one pocket of my coat for a one person tug on a ski loop, and a 15-20 footer in the other pocket for the real stucks that need 3 or 4 or more to pull. I have used a snowbunjie and they work, but I think it is not so much the "bunjie" effect as being able to stand up and get some leverage when using the bunjie/strap. There are situations where the bunjie is better, but for my money (free), and the convenience, the strap wins as it will easily fit in your coat pocket.
