techsledder, I have mainly 2 lengths of straps with me. 2 short 1 long. also I have a block and tackle rachet device. so If I am alone riding or the guys can't seem to find me I hook that to a tree using the snowbunje. Pulling the rope as hard as I can and the ratchet mech. holds firm pulling preasure on my sled. Then I get on the sled and rock it side to side until I "Rocket" out of the hole. If you ever walk out of the woods to the tune of 3-4miles with no trail you will carry this stuff along with other gardening tools in your pack. Check out www.snobunje.com for all the cool stuff. and Buy it from a John Dee supporter.

Yeah, we're avid users of the rattler and few other various tie down straps, but I need to get the cobra. That sled two sled pulling is the way to go. I've seen that rachet device before, just never pulled the trigger on the purchase.
