I reached out last week to confirm my subscription had not expired. They said I'm good thru 2023. LOL! They said the October issue should be in our mailboxes soon.

It's been available online for a couple of weeks now. I was thinking maybe they were only offering it online this year, glad to hear they are in the mail soon!

I cancelled my subscription several years ago because of their bent, as it were, that the sun rises and sets on Polaris...if I want a propaganda rag, I shouldn't have to pay for it

What did you do with that extra 12 bucks a year?

That must be why I like the mag so much? They speak the truth about Poo being #1. Ha! Just messin. Maybe we need a good pre-season brand debate while we all sit and wait for the snow to fly?! Less that 60 days. God Willing!

Nothing wrong with a little brand bashing to kill time, eh? It's not that I especially hate Poo or anything but I simply got tired of their constant harping on it...like Poo was the Second Coming or something...plus their articles seemed to be the same gist recycled to fit "location du jour"... with Snowtrax being junk and AmSnow gone that left me with Snow Tech...at least they "seem" to report on all 4 brands but lean slightly Canuk, if you get my drift...

I won't disagree with that. I have noticed that they do preach Poo pretty hard. Out of curiosity, are you loyal to a brand? If I didn't have Poo in my blood, I would be with Doo. They put out good sleds IMO and keep Poo on their toes for sure!

If you ride the mountains, SnoWest has an Ok magazine, but pretty much 100% geared toward long tracks.

Yeah, I'm pretty much a Yamaha guy...I finished my working career with Honda but since they don't make sleds I ended up on Yamaha...Honda actually researched the market back in the late 80s but decided there wasn't enough upside to it...the friend that got me coming Up Nort was a Yami guy and I pretty much stuck with them...I tried some friends' early-Rev Doo's but the original way forward position KILLED my bad knees...I could ride 1 for quite a while but then I couldn't walk into the restaurant, whatever ;)

As to mountains etc...I don't do heights...EVER...been terrified of heights my entire life...would love to have tried it sometime but then there's height thingie...more than 2 steps on a step-ladder and you lost me <G>

Nothing wrong with Yamaha other than being a bit on the heavy side. They are the most dependable (obviously being 4strokes).

You can do the mountains without getting into the steep and deep (heights). Beautiful meadows filled with more Pow than you have ever seen. A guy on here took me out to the Snowies, first time EVER to the mountains. He got us into a meadow and we played for days while the more experienced (aka: NOT ME) went and rode the trees. Other than getting stuck less than 100 yds from the cabin, I was hooked. LOL! Did not feel like we were at a different height (elevation) other than the lungs feeling it. In my opinion every sledder should go out West at least once in their lifetime. Just to experience that deep, bottomless snow that you can't / won't get anywhere else. Do it once and you will be back!

Yeah, my time for that has passed...by a LOT...I'm on the very backside of my riding days...Mother Nature's has a way of telling you when it's time to pull the plug...she's not talking yet but I can hear her starting her warm up...

Man we really got off topic. All I wanted to know is has anybody recieved there mag yet.lol

I answered that question on post #3. LOL! Still haven't gotten my in the mail yet BTW. Hoping it shows up this w/e. Getting the pre-season itch pretty bad and the mags at least help scratch it a little bit.

Hope that joint works better in sleds than it does in OPE because have seen a couple low hour failures on this set up and they just started using it this year, not a huge amount of failure but have seen them

I actually emailed Snow Goer (again) last night. A bit pissed that I have paid for a print subscription (thru 2023 no less) and it hasn't arrived yet when the e-version has been out for weeks now. They responded back already: "The print edition of Snow Goer recently mailed out. Due to the Pandemic, the print schedules have been off. If you have not received the print edition by 10/23, please email us and we will get one sent out directly from our offices. Thank you for your patience and understanding."

I whittled it down to Snow Tech one paper mag. American Snowmobiler RIP saw that going downhill from first to worst. In reality not much going on in the industry so one opinion will suffice. I quit Snow Goer years ago after the online renewal scam.
