Lightly snowing. Had slowed down a bit earlier but picking up again.

32 degrees right now...been sitting at that temperature since yesterday afternoon. Hasn't budged.

Here are a few more as I was descending the mountain this afternoon. It was coming down further up on top. See Will, your gonna get teased like this for a little while. Nov 23, 2016 002.jpg Nov 23, 2016 003.jpg Nov 23, 2016 001.jpg Patience snow hopper, you may ride once you can snatch the snowball from Meester Bleezards hand & he isn't quite ready just yet.... Here is a little encouraging irony for you, this is my 1978th post to the "new" JD, the winter of 1978/79 was epic. You just might be calling Uncle or No Maas before it's all over. -Mezz

Just got back from Houghton.

Noticeably less snow there and about 4 degrees warmer. It was actually drizzling there.

Going back up the hill just north of Hancock it changed to snow right around the top.

@mezz : You said descending the mountain. Which mountain? I'm not very good on the lingo up here as yet, lol.

The "mountain" would be a reference to the Calumet. / Laurium area for those of us that live in the "Banana Belt", that being the Lake Linden & surrounding areas. I was on my way down to Lake Linden on M26 from my Laurium office and snapped a few pic's on my phone. At one point, visibility was actually down to about an 1/8th of a mile. Weather in the Keweenw can sometimes be like a ride on the Mad Hatter's Tea Cup ride. You just have to hang on. Enjoy the ride. LOL!-Mezz
