Some real loosers in this activity we call snowmobiling

I love the way the forecasts are done on here. Knowing what the models are showing or not showing days in advance is much better than the local news, and the best part is telling people "My weartherman says its going to snow next friday", and they laugh until thursday when the local guy finally shows the snow on forcast. I'm more accurate than the local guy just by reading this site! Lol

I think you guys are way off. 1% or 1 out of 100 is a D-bag that ruins it for every one?
I think it is more like 90% are the D-bags.

The non D-bags are becoming more and more rare. We need to rally together against these idiots!

John, Do you get any emails thanking you for the storms that you accurately predict? I doubt it.
Thanks for all you do!

Yep, it just takes one jag-off to ruin for everybody. Its 10:00 and the forecast hasn't been updated yet. Can't get my fix. Thanks to the "know-it alls" for venting to John about his blown forecast. They totally could have done a better job. (Sarcasm).

I just wanted add my support for John also. Whoever it was that was bashing his forecast is clearly clueless. I feel like by reading John's forecast discussions, that he provides much more of the "behind the scenes" rational for how and why his forecasts are what they are. I love the information about the models and their consesus or lack thereof. No matter how it turns out, I think the very best weather information available is provided by John. I am intrigued by weather and by following John's site for many years, I have been educated by how outlooks, forecasts, weather models, etc. all work. Thanks John for all you do on this site.

New Monday graphics are posted no new text. Graphics look conservative for area snow fall today but could change as always. Models are models & change day to day. Wait & see what happens as always.

Jd's forecast is the most accurate around. Nobody is going to be exactly right on a weather forecast. Keep up the good !

Love the site John and keep up the good work! If I was in your shoes I would block him from your site! Snowmobiling is a family friendly sport and that kind of stuff does not need to be tolerated.

I always knew you were good but now one guy in NW Iowa is expecting you to predict the weather in one small corner of his mind from the northernmost part of the UP. Is he serious???? That's why it's called "predicting" the weather.

BTW - what's the weather going to be like Weds. Jan 2nd in Zone 5 of Waupaca county in NE WI????

Disclaimer: Please note that any sarcasm (real or imagined) in this comment is directed at the hoser from NW IA. :)

God Bless - Skutr

John, I have been following your site for a long time. I have to tell you thank you for what you do, and you are by far the most accurate of any one out there. I get asked "what is your guy saying about the snow" all of the time because of how well you do you job. Again thank you for what you do and kudos for handling this very well.

You know what?

Forget all this gratitude!

Make it snow in Waterford! Directly north of the M-59 east west line!

When I was a kid, we would be clearing an ice rink off the lake with the 70's version of the Ariens snow blower you always auction off by now! Get your stuff together boy!

John,
You can't fix stupid. If they feel that way and think the need to rip apart someone like that we are all probably better off without them. And though we will probably never have the chance to meet those people out on the trails or in a tavern, we all would like to down a mug of beer over their head and kidney punch them. Keep up the the forcasts and good work. NOBODY does a better job!!

Marquette - 5+ inches in town

Diorite(Champion area) - A good 6-7 inches (Man I wish I was even further south west today!!)
