This isn't about a near collision, but just idiot riders. I was taking my brother-in-law for a ride with his two daughters in Trevor/Salem, WI, and it was as rough as I have ever seen. Two foot high moguls, couldn't have been able to go more than 15-20 mph especially with a kid on the back. We stop at highway 50 for a break, and up rides these two kids, maybe 20 or so, and we get to talking. They were complaining about the conditions, as was I, and at the end of the conversation, they leave. These guys who were just bitchin' about the rough trails, fishtail and rooster up snow all the way out of sight. Gee, wonder how the trais get so bad.

Ya can't fix STUPID!

We had some guy learn the hard way. He was flying down the Corridor and ran a stop sign and hit a car! Died instantly. This happenend about a mile from town. Then you get the people who leave the bar and ride down the highway(bare pavement) to out run Johnny Law. This guy wishes he was dead after they got ahold of him! I am so glad I can ride during the week anytime, weekends bring out the pure idiots. Rode down to Barnes yesterday and only met 2 groups, and mighty fine trails they were!

It's the 3am drag races down main street after the bar closes, while running with with loud cans and studs on bare pavement that gets me. Then they wonder why they are not welcome. Somethings are worth more to a community than a Ricky racers money. We truly need to clean up the "pissing off the locals" part as best we can. Remember, They own the land we ride on.

Hard to feel sorry for stupid people. Glad they didn't take anybody out before.

Yes that's the accident I was talking about. I know the mail lady, her car was broadsided. My hubby had his fire/emt pager on, the guy died instantly. Sad, hope I never see anything like this. This happened not to far from our home.
