Sons 1st ever ride on a snowmobile today

My 2.5 year old son went on his first ever snowmobile ride today on Lake Winnebago. I wish I could have captured the look of happiness on his face when we were crusing on the lake. I think Santa might bring a 120 sled in the next year or two.

Awesome! A great day I am sure and one neither of you will forget!

That is for sure! Yesterday went a lot better than I thought it would since a year ago he would cry when I would start the sled. Now he wants to know when we can go for another ride...

Too Cool, my son did the same thing way back when... then he would run for MoM.... Now a days .... he has some of the best sleds, and is increasingly hard to shake off my back door. Unless I drink a energy drink . He is actually a better rider than myself, has more stamina, and is safer !!! Quicker reaction skills, and better agility. He is well trained but sometimes gets bored with driving with me alone. Thus we try to go with some friends.

Seeing my kids ride there 120 or riding with me can be more fun then a full day of riding for me! My son still talks about his first sled trip with me last March. And was mad when I said I was going on an adult trip.

Can't wait until this is happening to me one day!

it is about time you do realise you are over 8mo behind schedule.
every sled addict knows you should have had that kitty cat sitting in the garage in mid october just in case he was abel to ride it.
shame on you for not being prepared for your sons future addiction

How cool is that!!

Just as long as you know you've created a monster!! 12 years later my son wants to do nothing else. Now the middle kid is doing the same!!

Congrats on that first ride!! :)

Yep. I recall "back in the day" stopping and setting my 3 year old under the hood to warm him up before hitting the trails again. Now, I won't even try to keep pace with he and his buddies. Not that I still don't have it, but there is a good chance that he'd have to come back and pull me and my 2-up out of the woods. I've created a snowmobiler and I'm proud of it. Keep up the tradition.
