Spring Order vs Buying Mid Winter

Other than the occasional new up and coming shock package, aren't spring order sleds just more 'pretty' with different color packages available?

as far as SKi doo yes, I have noticed some dealers are buying X package and XRS package sleds to have in inventory come Dec. SO if you look many times you can find a spring order brand new early winter but you can't bank on it.

Aaahhmm; those were ordered by customers that decided not to purchase.

FYI....an LE...limited edition...spring order....look up any replacement part for a sled like that VS a non LE sled and you will notice something....this is an example and I have not indicated the parts recently and I know only CATS....but its this.....a LE sled might have a 1 inch shaft....while a regular sled has a 7/8 inch shaft....and so on....electrical parts vary also...part numbers are slightly different like the relays for 4 strokes that don't work in the cold...same part....slightly different part number...one works...the other don't...a spring order LE sled is FAR SUPERIOR IN EVERY ASPECT IMO

IMO also a LE has a slighty different faster tune on the box too and they perform better and can attain more MPH

This is some strange ---- for sure????????????????????????????? Wow??? Just no way.

Can't deny nor confirm some of this but he is correct in regards to some of it. The cross shaft is a solid 1" shaft on the RR where as it's a hollow 7/8" shaft on non RR models. The relays I'm not sure about, they do offer a solid state relays (doo does as well) but I don't think there standard issue on any sled. I don't believe there is any difference in tunes or mapping of the ecu from one model to the other. They are geared different from model to model though.

I snow checked an 18 winder for 2 reasons. The first reason is I searched high and low @ this time last year for a leftover LE sidewinder and there were none to be found, even Kip had none. The second reason is I wanted the LE model only period, the only way to assure myself of getting one was to snow check one.

I had a 2015 Yamaha Viper LTX LE with a lot of miles bought a 2017 Viper LTX LEfor $3800 off I wanted the heated seat and better shocks. I cannot worry about depreciation when I will ride 5000 this year. 5 year warranty and sell it with a year left
