Strawberry shortcake-- Berries are ripe!!!

Not with those round things they import from California that look pretty but taste like the box they shipped them in, but real midwestern berries with home made shortcake, and real whip cream.....I swear, there is no better dessert made anywhere.

Don't forget some ice cream and home made ice cream is the best to nothing compares to it out of a carton THINK SNOW + ROCK + ROLL+ FUDGE + BLUEBERRY PANCAKES AND NOW STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE!!!!!!!!! YUMMMMMMMMMY for my tummy ;P

Had Strawberry shortcake for dessert last night and having some more for breakfast right now!

Come on TS88, bring your "spoon"! But outta shortcake, so those nice fresh strawberries are going to be on top of a pile of vanilla ice cream!

I like taking strawberries, then cut them, and put a little sugar on them. Then put them in fridge overnight. Then I take the juice the next day and spoon it over ice cream. It somewhat freezes on there and then I add a strawberries as well, but it is awesome!

I use angel food cake cause I am an angel lol and of course you have to have ice cream and if you want some whipped cream to and NO CHERRY on this one all strawberry here and love each and every bite

I like sweet biscuit best...angel food gets soggy....unless you eat fast!

Sugar the berries, let them sit for an hour (if you can wait dat long...) and then heap on the whipped cream.

Good time to make strawberry freezer jam too...for this fall and winter when strawberries are just a distant memory.

Oh, the freezer jam, my mom & grandma make the best jam on the planet

I vote for the bisquick biscuits as well

OH don't even get me started on JAM...I LOVE JAM.. I love to make jam!! Already been out checking the plants lots of flowers on them and that means lots of JAM!!! Too late now I'm all jammed up..LOL

Oh and I like bisquick biscuits brushed with a little butter and then sprinkled with sugar...sweet biscuits
