Snowstorms like these separate the men from the boys when it comes to snowblowers. It seemed like a lot of people were having issues with their blowers. I have a 10hp and it does fairly well in the heavy snow. I ended up doing 2 other driveways yesterday because they couldn't blow them out. Now I'm actually considering getting a bigger blower. When ya need it, ya need it. No substitute for "more power"...

The capacity of my Ariens is just fine, it's the operator that has limitations! We're gonna need some Tylenol to get this man machine running today.

Had a 6 hr lull yesterday evening. The news reported 14.8” for Greenville at that time. Started back up a few hours ago, Few more inches overnight, it’s really nasty out right now. If I had to guess we’ll end up with 8 additional. Going to go blow the driveway for the 5th time and head to work.

Very true, I have a John Deere 828, 10hp, 2 stage. We have lived here now for 5 winters, the first 2 were big snow, the 2nd 2 were low snow and this winter we have had four major storms, 2 ft at Thanksgiving, 20” at Christmas, 18” in January, 18” this past weekend. I keep my JD maintained so it starts and does the job when I need it. I have had to replace scraper bars, front skid shoes pretty regularly. It gets used at least 40 times during the season. Use only premium gas. Some of the big jobs it done this season IMG_3922.jpeg IMG_3962.jpeg IMG_3962.jpeg IMG_3922.jpeg IMG_3962.jpeg IMG_3922.jpeg IMG_3922.jpeg IMG_3962.jpeg IMG_4085.jpeg
