I understood the symbolism, but most of what he said was completely unintelligible. For an artist to be understood, we need to understand what is actually being said. Most of it sounded like incoherent mumble. What I really didn't like about it was there no melody, very little accompanying sound or instruments (in some cases just clapping), just him rapping. Most of it really wasn't music, it was like a spoken word performance. I listen to all genres of music, including rap, I didn't dislike just because it's rap. But the interweb now says you're a racist if you didn't like it.Sorry but this one’s too funny! On a side note I’m a Kendrick Lamar fan, have been since his song humble came out a decade ago. There was a much bigger message to the performance, and I think a lot of you would’ve appreciated the performance more if you understood what it was about.
FWIW, Kendrick Lamar is the farthest thing from woke, and there’s a reason hardcore lefties are losing their minds over his performance. It’s not just the old white people who don’t like him"I did not watch it but lets be real, the intended target audience isn't going to be posting on JohnDee snowmobile site."
Very true. But we are also considered as a part of "Fly-Over Country" by the national media. Frequently ignored up until a recent election which proved our sizeable numbers. If they want more eyeballs on their commercials, and we know that they do. They may want to broaden their entertainment choices.
No gary, they don't care, period. And we will continue on being who we are, count on it."I did not watch it but lets be real, the intended target audience isn't going to be posting on JohnDee snowmobile site."

Okay thanks gary. I had no racist intent whatsoever, but was just curious, as I've never been concerned with it. I'm somewhat surprised it's only 53.5% as I would have guessed it to be higher? Seems most all of half time performers or whatever were indeed black, or of color. As for the 53.5% black players we all very well know why that is, as it's just plain talent. No way around that. The black, or of color College, NFL QBs has really came into being these days. No DEI as I can see. Goes back many years before DEI came into focus, being imo.53.5% players to be exact. The U.S. population that identifies as Black is at 14.4%
